Good morning family,
As a police officer who has served for many years, I have learned to quickly recognize small details that say a lot about a person. A couple of weeks ago, I walked into a small bakery in uniform and a lady inside immediately caught my attention. Based on my experience, I could tell that she had been in prison, was a recovering drug user, and more than likely had been recently released from jail. As a younger officer, I used to think that a person like this would be unable to make a positive impact in our community. But as a Christian, I realized oh how wrong I was………
Jesus, who has been referred to as friend of sinners, surrounded Himself with “Those People” that many would consider “Not Worthy.” The apostles themselves were a motley crew, and yet, Jesus believed in them enough to share His hope, grace, and salvation with all of the world.
If you are not feeling worthy, you are seeing this through your eyes and not through Jesus’ eyes. Jesus thought you were worthy enough to lay down His life for.
He has a great purpose for you.
Do not let liars tell you otherwise.
YOU ARE WORTHY!
