Galatians 1:10 For am I now trying to persuade people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Blessings family,
I read a statement by Chadwick Boseman, the actor from the movie Black Panther who died recently. He said: “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, “I used everything you gave me.”
I’ve noticed for some time now many who have such incredible talents and blessings–musical talents, interpersonal skills, listening, patience, the blessing of a family, health, a job, promotions. The list goes on and on. But what I don’t always see is how those talents and blessings are used for God’s glory. I know this may sound overwhelming. You might be saying: I am not able to do things like others. Then don’t. Do the things that God created you to do. You are a blessing to God, so you are a blessing to others.
Mr. Boseman’s statement resonated with me. That is my goal. To use everything God gave me for His glory. I don’t know if I will get there, but I will do my best.
Praying that all of you would know what God has created you for, and if you don’t, I pray He would reveal it to you.
Humbled to serve,
Jorge
