Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

Good evening family,

I want to start off by saying thank you. Many of you often reach out to check on me and for that I am extremely grateful. A couple of weeks ago, I had one challenging situation after another, and it weighed on me. While I know all the things I needed to get out of that “funk,” it was hard. Then, I received a call from a colleague who I had not spoken to in quite a while. Based on the week and half I’d just had, I braced myself for another round of challenges. However, when I answered, he simply wanted to know how I was doing and how the ministry was going. I was touched…

The reason I am sharing this with all of you is because sometimes, God prompts us to reach out to someone but we don’t. Maybe it’s because we’re overwhelmed or because we think that person is doing great. But let me challenge you to answer God’s prompting. When He places someone on your heart to reach out to, do it–even with those who you think are just fine or seem to have it together. You never know just what kind of weight that person might be carrying at the precise moment that God nudged you.

I am praying for all of you. The weight of this world is heavy, but Our Father has overcome it!

Have a blessed week!

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
