Good morning family,
This past Friday, we had our Annual Blessing of The Badge. The meeting was incredible! God’s presence was felt and heard throughout the night. When we broke out into our rooms, men in one and women in the other, one of the questions was, in part: What season am I in now?
This question spoke to me, because earlier in the week, I had felt a bit empty. I shared with the men that I felt like I was on a sailboat in the middle of the ocean waiting for God to send a wind to move me…..
At the end of the night, I did the Blessing of The Badge and when I prayed, I could feel myself searching for His words but feeling like I was failing at connecting with Him.
This caused me to reflect A LOT. It made me ask: What am I looking for? Am I seeking His wonders, His peace, His assurance? Or am I seeking out doubts, fears and worries?
Friday night’s meeting was a personal reminder for me that I need to spend more time in His Word. I need to maintain that intimate relationship with Him, the one He wants with me.
Praying that you would see God’ s hand in something this week to keep your sailboat moving.
