1 Corinthians 15:3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.

The other day, I received the message in the image attached. It was from my bank, making me aware that a limit I had set on my debit card had been exceeded. While I had placed this limit a long time ago to prevent fraud, this time, when I read it, I was struck by the phrase: Transaction Over Your Chosen Alert Limit.

What if God had a transaction limit? What if He said: I know you have repented. I know you have asked me to be in your life. I know you are seeking me with all of your heart, but sadly you passed my (sin) transaction limit threshold. How hopeless would our lives be?

But that is not what Jesus did for us! He knew every lie, every deceitful thing we would do in our life. And knowing all of this, He still died for us. If you are feeling today that you have failed God, that He could never forgive what you have done, know that He already has. The only one holding on to that regret is you…. Ask Jesus to forgive you, ask Him to guide your steps and He will. Proverbs 28:13 tells us: “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”

Praying that you recieve His mercies and grace today. And may you know that His transactions do not conform to the limits of this world.

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
