Good morning family,
A couple of years ago, my wife saw a sticker on a car that said: He > i. It took me a moment, but I got it. He (God) > (is greater than) i (me, lower case). What a simple, yet profound statement! My wife bought me a t-shirt that has this written on it and I wear it a lot. Last weekend I was wearing it when we went to Texas Road House for lunch and one of the waitresses said to me, “I love your shirt.” I smiled and thanked her. Later, when we were done eating, she brought us our check, even though she was not our waitress. She asked us what church we went to and told us that she had just found God. We had spoken for a little bit when I was reminded that I had an FCPO coin, so I gave it to her. I told her, “This coin is not blessed. It’s just a piece of plastic. But, it is a physical reminder that God loves you and that the one blessed is you.” She began to cry. She thanked us many times before walking away.
I wanted to share this story with you because it was a wonderful moment orchestrated by God. We all have an opportunity to be a light for Christ, even in the everyday interactions. We just have to be willing to move for Him when the opportunity opens up. Can you imagine if all of His children would go out daily being intentional, even if just for a moment? How different this world would be if each of us would only just try to love more and be a light for Christ.
