Matthew 26:48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” 49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him. 50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.”

Blessings family,

Have you ever had a Judas in your life? As I was reading the book of Matthew this morning, I was reminded of a Judas in my life. I won’t go into details, but if it were not for this “Judas,” I would have not walked out the path that God had ordained for me. My flesh was limiting me. So, in God’s graciousness, He sent me a “Judas” to betray me so that I would allow what He had ordained to fall into place.

Judas was part of The Plan. Jesus needed Judas to betray Him so that the Scriptures could be fulfilled. And even though I did not want to admit it, I needed my own “Judas” to remind me that it’s not my will, but God’s.

If you have ever had a Judas in your life, or maybe there is one in it right now, reflect on why that person was sent to you. As painful as it may be, God may have an incredible plan for your life and you simply need a “Judas” to push you.

Praying for His gracious peace to fall on you this week.

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
