Good afternoon family,
I pray all of you are doing well, especially during these times.
This is the first time in 19 years where the beaches are closed locally and I’m grateful because it allows me an opportunity to reflect. Without the extra noise from the everyday rush, I find myself thinking about those who sacrificed everything for our freedom. I personally know a few of you who have lost friends or family members in war, and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I pray that today we can honor them and their sacrifice–a sacrifice so great that they laid down their lives. I pray that this pause in our rushed routines would give each of us a moment to reflect on how blessed we are because of their selflessness.
Would you please take a moment today, by yourself or with your family, and pray for all those who have been impacted by the loss of a loved one.
