Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

Saturday night was another powerful powerful night! We were reminded of the authority we have through Christ, whether we carry a badge or not, and that through Him, great things are possible. Lemus shared the story of Jesus’ arrest, and how at any time Jesus could have asked God to call down an army of angels to defend them all, but knew He had to die for us. What an image!

That night I was unable to sleep until very late and Sunday morning, I found it hard to get out of bed. I thought, Maybe we can stay home and watch the service online, but prayed and decided to leave the decision to my wife, who said, “Yes, we’re going.” When we arrived at the church, it was packed like I had never seen it before. There were almost no seats available and the AC was having an issue. I decided we could stand in the lobby and watch it on the TV there. As I was standing by the side door, an elderly, frail woman walked in. She looked at me and I could see the weight of the world in her eyes. I asked her if she wanted to sit inside. She took a moment and said, “No thank you.” I asked her if she wanted some water. she looked at me again, sighed and said, “No thank you.” I figured at this point, she wanted to be left alone, but after a little bit, she stared at me and I could feel the weight. I asked her if she was okay and if I could pray for her. Her eyes filled with tears and she nodded, yes. When I asked her what I could pray for, she said, “How can I feel worthy?”

There is SO much to share here, but I started by telling her all the things that happened and how I ended up by the exact door she walked in through. It was not a coincidence and God placed me there for her. We spoke for a long time and I prayed over her, reminding how much He loves her, how He died for her and I asked her to re-dedicate her life to Jesus, reminding her how He stands at the door knocking, waiting for her to open it. I ask that you please pray for her. May Our Father continue to reveal Himself to her in a mighty way.

If you feel you are not worthy or have “Holy Nothing,” you are not alone. I was there when God placed this ministry on my heart and I said, “I have Holy Nothing to offer you Lord and cannot do this for you.” But I was wrong. He paid the price for it all and through Him, I have “Holy Everything.” So if you are feeling unworthy today, know that you are worthy enough that Christ died for you. You are worthy. You are His prince or princess. You were created in His image and He formed you in your mother’s womb.

You are “Holy Awesome”, in Jesus’ name!!

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
