Good morning family,
I ask that you please continue to pray for all of those impacted by this storm and I pray that in the midst of all of the chaos going on, you were somehow able to rest.
Yesterday, when my family and I were at service, they sang a song titled,”Fear is Not My Future.” I’ve heard this song countless times, but when I was singing the part that said, “Hello, peace, Hello, joy, Hello, love, Hello, strength, Hello, hope, It’s a new horizon,” I had a new revelation. Usually when I say “Hello,” I am directly acknowledging the person I’m greeting. I see them and welcome them. So the question for me was: Are we doing the same when it comes to Peace, Joy, Love, Strength and Hope? Are we saying Hello to Peace and welcoming it into our life? Hello to Joy? Hello to Love? Hello to Strength? Hello to Hope? Hello to a New Horizon? Are we saying, Hello! Welcome into my life?
I know so much is going on right now and it might seem impossible to welcome any one of these. I hear you. But I am taking this challenge and I pray you do as well: to be expectant of these things and say HELLO to them as if you see them and are welcoming them into your life.
