Philippians 2:7-8 Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even to death on a cross.
Blessings family,
Yesterday, as I was driving home, I was able to take the picture below. As the sun was setting, I had an image of Jesus “setting” as he died on the cross. The Son had set and with His “setting,” all of the sins of the world were taken with Him. Good Friday is a reminder that we can remove all the weights (burdens and sins) of our lives and leave them at the foot of the cross for Jesus to take and bury them. Spend tomorrow, in His presence knowing that on Sunday (Son-Day) He will rise again and because of Him, we too will rise again.
Praying for the family and all of the first responders involved in the tragedy at The Capitol today.
Humbled to serve,
Jorge
