John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Good morning family,
Yesterday, God opened an opportunity for us to bless someone with some household items they needed. When we were talking he shared with me that he is a believer. Through our conversation, he spoke about the end of times, but not in the way I’ve often heard about it. He shared that sometimes, it’s not about THE end of times, when Jesus returns, but about our individual “end of time,” like when a car accident or a heart attack claims a life.
This became personal later that day when I received a text from a colleague that someone I had been mentoring on and off, and who had asked me to officiate their wedding, had a motorcycle accident and died. He was going to be married on October 5th. This news was heartbreaking for me and such a hard reminder that our end of times can come at any time. I found some solace in knowing that I will see him in heaven, but it’s hard for those left behind. I ask that you please pray for his fiance and for his daughter.
We never know when our end of time will arrive. It waits for no one and nothing. It doesn’t matter how busy you are; when your time is up, it is up.
It is important to know that we should not accept Christ out of fear, but out of what He did for us. He never wants to see you perish and wants to spend an eternity with you. Please use every opportunity to share this with those who do not have the hope we have in Him. You never know when their end of time may be.
Praying that we would each have the opportunity, courage and wisdom to share The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Humbled to serve,
Jorge
