1 Peter 2:12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

Last week, I was running around doing errands and decided I would surprise my wife with some Starbucks coffee. At the drive through, the teller said, “Welcome to Starbucks, would you like to start off with something to eat?” I said no thank you and asked, “How are you?” She said: “I’m sorry, what was that?” I asked her again, “How are you?” She responded, “I’m good….. thank you so much for asking.” I placed my order and drove up to the window to pay. There, she thanked me again and told me how nice it was that I had asked her how she was doing. In return, she wanted to do something nice for me. When she handed me the drinks, she did not charge me for them. I was so surprised and grateful. All I did was ask her how she was doing, but these small words led to a blessing at this Starbucks.

I will be the first one to admit that I often fail to be an example of Jesus like this, but praise God, that day I was able to do it. How many times have we missed tiny moments like this to impact someone’s life? Who would have ever thought that such a small act of love would bless someone so much and bless me.

Praying this week that we would each have an opportunity, even in the smallest way to glorify God.

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
