Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Good morning family,
I know many today might have a hard time saying those words–“good morning”–for a variety of reasons. Today might seem anything but “good,” but I have been reflecting on many things, and one word that keeps coming up for me is: Loss. Recently, I’ve heard of many who have passed, including family members of close friends and some for whom we had been praying intently. Also, today, 22 years ago, there was an incredible amount of loss–loss of life, loss of safety, loss of knowing what would be next, loss of feeling able. I think each of us, in our own way, has experienced some type of loss and loss is painful.
This morning, I read the above verse. It spoke to me about loss. I often think about holding God’s hand to walk me through trials, and when I am praying, I raise my right hand asking God to take it. So, today I want to encourage you to do the same. Raise your right hand and ask Him to take a hold of it. He will lead you. Do not fear for He is with you. Know that. He is with you.
Praying for everyone today. Jesus said, “do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself” (Matthew 6:34).
Humbled to serve,
Jorge
