John 7:37 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

Blessings family,

For a while now, I’ve been trying to do a better job of drinking more water. As I was filling a large cup the other day, I remembered that on some occasions, I have filled it up too much and it overflowed. Other times, I didn’t fill it up all the way. But every time I’ve approached the refrigerator to fill my cup, it has had an endless supply of water.

Do we approach God like this? Do we approach Him as endless or limitless, One that can overflow our cups? Or do we approach Him as One who has limits and is only capable of filling our cups with a limited amount? Hebrews 4:16 says: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

This is a reminder for me too. We serve a limitless God and we should give Him limitless praise and thanks. And when we give Him our petitions, may they be at a level that is beyond what we think is possible. Our Father makes the impossible possible. Do you have a prayer that you have not brought to The Father because you think it is too big for Him to handle? I want to encourage you today. In the same way you know water will pour out of the water dispenser, know that Our Father is able to handle whatever you bring to Him. Nothing is too big for Him if you truly believe He is able.

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
