Happy Sunday!
So… I have some announcements that I need to share with all of you. I am very sad to say that our new home in Christ Journey Kendall has closed… The church did not close the door to us, but rather this campus has closed and the Kendall Campus branch of Christ Journey is moving to Coral Gables. That means last month was our last meeting at the Kendall Campus. Due to this, we the board prayed about our future, and after much discussion and prayer, we have decided to change our meeting dates to be quarterly instead of monthly. Christ Journey, who is a huge supporter of our ministry, has opened the Coral Gables Campus for us to meet.
I know this is hard, but unexpected changes always cause us to reflect on where we are and where we’re going, as well as if there is anything in our lives that needs to be changed. While we were surprised by the change, we are excited to see where God will lead the FCPO.
In and through this, we do have some great news! In addition to our quarterly meetings, we will be meeting monthly at various locations for a time of fellowship through outreaches and events. This month, on March 19th at 1 PM, we will be meeting at Dave and Buster for NCAA March Madness. We also plan on being more intentional doing prayer outreaches like Prayer with a Cop. Also, save the date for the following dates:
- April 2nd, we will have a full day of discipleship training at Christ Journey Coral Gables campus. I will share that information in the coming weeks.
- May 21st, we will have our next quarterly meeting. I will share more information as each event gets closer.
