Joshua 6:4 Have seven priests carry seven ram’s-horn trumpets in front of the ark. But on the seventh day, march around the city seven times, while the priests blow the rams’ horns.5 When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.”

Good morning family,

Yesterday, as I was arriving at church, I saw an officer who looked like a friend of mine getting into a marked unit. I hit my air horn to get their attention. As I got closer, I was sure it was Carla, so I hit my air horn again and she got out of her vehicle. When she saw me, she began to laugh, telling me how our air horns have a distinct sound and when she heard it, she began to look around to see where the officer was.

In other words, she heard the air horn and began to seek. This conversation reminded me of a video I saw a while back where a shepherd called his sheep. Once they heard his call, they responded and began to walk towards him–the way we should be walking toward Our Shepherd when we hear His call.

Did any of this resonate with you? Have you been actively seeking the call of Your Shepherd? Are you responding and walking towards Him?

Our Father is up to something great! Take time this week to actively seek His calling on your life, and make it a point to walk towards Him when you hear Him.

Praying His love covers you today.

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
