Psalm 142:2 I pour out my complaint before him; I reveal my trouble to him. 3 Although my spirit is weak within me, you know my way.
Blessings family,
On December 24th, I sent out a devotional titled: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel ” (which means “God with us”). In that devotional, I attached a photo of Path 1 (below), connecting how sometimes, if we don’t accept the gift Jesus freely gave us, our paths might be blurry, but that if we do, our paths will be clear. The following day, a friend who I had not seen or spoken to in several years came to my heart. I sent him a text message wishing him a Merry Christmas, and he responded the same. Later that night, he texted me again, this time with a picture of a painting he had just started working on (Painting – below), even though he had not read my email before. The beauty of this moment continued because the end of the path of my picture led to water (below) just like in my friend’s painting.
I believe God ordained this to remind us all that He is present and is still moving even when we do not feel He is. When I feel like this, I reflect on my life and write down all the times God has shown up, so this is my encouragement for you. Lean on God in those moments of drought for strength.
May you have a blessed week in Jesus Christ.
Humbled to serve,
Jorge
