John 17:23 I am in them and you are in me, so that they may be made completely one, that the world may know you have sent me and have loved them as you have loved me.
My wife and I were talking last night about Dr. King’s famous speech, “I have a dream,” in which he said: “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” Dr. King’s dream should be a reality in our walk with Christ and this reminded me that, to Jesus, we are all His children, and as children of God, we are called to love one another as He loves us.
I know my walk isn’t perfect and I strive everyday to get better to be like Jesus. We each have a great opportunity to impact those around us by honoring and loving one another. If each of us takes a step to do this, we could give this world a glimpse of the love Jesus has for all His children.
Praying that we would each have an opportunity today to love on someone and impact their life.
