Last year, God placed it on my heart to send out an email asking if you would give Him the first 30 seconds of 2021. This email encouraged many and with all the challenges this world has to offer, I wanted to share this request with you again.
Can you give God the first 30 seconds of 2022? When the clock hits midnight, before sending a text message, calling family or friends, can you stop and pray? You can pray for your family, your friends, your life, your home or whatever is on your heart.
If you feel led to pray but do not know where to start, I have written a short prayer below that may help you get started:
Father,
I want to thank you for today. Thank you for my life, for my family, and for my friends. I ask that you please cover them with Your great hand. Please heal us of any physical, emotional, or spiritual pain, and please continue to be with me as I begin this New Year. Help me to love like you, so I can be Your hands and feet, even when I do not feel the strength or the desire to do so. Help me to be a great light in 2022.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen.
