Ecclesiastes 1:9 “What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun.”

Good morning family,

The other day, I looked at the weather app on my phone (picture below) to check if it was going to rain. The app showed it was partly cloudy “now” with no rain in sight. Moments later, however, it began to pour. As odd as it may sound, this was very comforting for me. So often, we, humanity, take so much credit for the incredible advancements we have. And yet, with all of the satellites and all of the technology we have, we still fall short of His wisdom. This was proof that our trust cannot be in technology, or in others, but in Him.

It was also a great reminder of the verse above. In part it states, “There is nothing new under the sun.” What does that mean? It means that NOTHING surprises God and there will never be anything new that He will not know about.

Always remember that no matter how advanced we think we may be, or how great an invention is, God is greater. He is above all things.

Praying that this week you would be able to hold onto the truth that is Jesus and not on all the distractions this world has to offer.

Keep your eyes on Him!

Humbled to serve,

Jorge
