Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Good morning family,
The other day, a friend came to my heart and I sent him a text message (see image). The problem was the message kept saying: “Not Delivered.” I sent it several times until finally, it went through. In the middle of this frustration, God revealed something to me–again. I had sent the message, but despite my efforts, it was not delivered. My friend did not receive it.
In a similar way, the message of what Jesus did for you and me has been sent, but have we received it? Or is He receiving the “Not Delivered” message from us? The verse above speaks about what Jesus did for us. He was pierced for our transgressions and our offenses, and He was crushed for our iniquities and our sin. The message of what Jesus did for us has been sent. It was sent but we (the phone) have not received it. The problem with this is that if we are not willing to receive what He has done for us, it leaves us trapped in a prison of guilt and regrets.
Praying that you (or someone you have been praying for) would open your hearts today to receive what Jesus has done for you, so that you can walk out of the prison you have been in.
Humbled to serve,
Jorge
