Friday night’s meeting was spectacular! Hearing how God spared Anthony’s life reminded me of a situation in my life. Many years ago, I was stopped at a red light at the intersection by my mom’s house, shown in the photo below. When the light turned green, I went to press the accelerator but found I was unable to move. I remember looking at the light and thinking, I need to go, but it was as if I was being pinned in my seat. Just then, a car blew right through the red light. It went so fast I could barely make out the color of the car! If I had driven into the intersection, I would not be here today.
I have met several people over the years who have escaped death. I always tell them to pray about God’s purpose for sparing their life. Have you ever thought about what that means in your life? You might not have a moment like the one Anthony and I experienced, or maybe you do, but know that if you are reading this email, God has plans for you.
For those that know me, I never in a million years would have thought I would be speaking to anyone about Jesus, yet here I am. Don’t underestimate what God can do through you. Wherever you are or whatever you are doing.
