I Am the Light of the World, Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Good afternoon family,
A couple of weekends ago when I was sitting in my backyard, I closed my eyes and when I did, a million thoughts began to flood my mind. It almost felt chaotic, kind of like the times we are living in right now. Then the sun began to break through the clouds and shine on my face. As it did, I felt all those thoughts slowly fade. The sun continued to get brighter and brighter and at its brightest, I could only focus on the sunlight and nothing else. My mind was cleared and filled with peace.
What a beautiful reminder that His light shines brighter than any chaos or darkness in our life, if we allow Him to! Take care that His light shines bright and His hope shines brighter. Do not let the chaos or the feeling of being overwhelmed cover you. Jesus IS your rock. Hold on to Him. He cannot and will not be moved by anyone or anything.
